I was looking for a pair of everyday studs to replace an authentic pair that i received as a gift. As soon as I saw these, I knew that they would be perfect. I get compliments on these earrings constantly. My only gripe would be the the backing. They're not strong enough to stabilize the studs properly, which is why i had to replace the original pair. Definitely worth it!!!!

These are beautiful earrings, my only complaint is that the base is rather thick for my taste. Granted that is the point of the design and again it is beautiful. It becomes a personal preference.

but I agree with other reviewers that they are difficult to keep positioned correctly on the ear -- they have a tendency to tilt. I think it's because the heavy stone is raised to high by the decorative base. But they do look nice when on.
