QUESTION: There are two sizes i choose from? by None N 1/30/2012
ANSWER: I know. I debated the same thing. I went with the smaller, but I think they are too small. Emitations has graciously called to try to fix the problem, but I haven't had time to deal. I would actually buy both to compare and return. I like them, the green is great, but the I was worried about the cheapie god thing. The small though..they sort of get lost unless your hair is up. ANSWER: I love these earrings they are the best Jolie imitations ive found for this price. They are well made and deep in color. You can view the measurements of both sizes of the Angelina Jolie earrings by clicking on the 'Descriptions' tab on the product page or by viewing photo number 4 comparing the two earring sizes. As you can see from the photo the Petite version measures 1.2 inches long and .4 inches wide. The Original version measure 1.1 inches long and .5 inches wide.

ANSWER: Honestly, I was a disappointed in them. The green is very nice but the gold a little glaring and tacky and they are a lot smaller than I thought. I also had to insist they send the bigger backs which they didn't, but kept sending the little butterfly ones They kind of dip forward on your ear.
I did keep them but haven't even worn them yet. I wanted more drama like the Jolie ones and should have gotten the bigger ones, but customer service kept discouraging them as too big. ANSWER: I purchased the Angelina Jolie's Emerald Earrings in both gold and silver in December -- and I am very glad I did. They definately get the glances and compliments in most social situations. Both have the look and feel of fine jewelry [craftsmanship] with less the worries when I travel. I do mix these earrings with my fine jewelry pieces [bracelets + rings of $3,000 to $4,000 in value] and you would not be able to detect a difference in gem quality of color. I try very hard to keep all my jewelry away from hairsprays, perfums, body oils/moisturizers -- and I treat these no different. Easy care -- rinse with warm water and wipe with a soft cotton cloth. I would not even consider taking a risk with explosing them to a jewelry cleaner [as with fine jewelry] or anything stronger than warm water. by Julie L 7/1/2011

The attention given to construction/materials is like a fine jeweler's. I like them so much that I have worn them to several work-related and special events [not travel related].
