With an illuminating step cut, the Asscher cut has regained its antique popularity in recent years. This ring features two side baguette stones leading the eye to a dazzling 1.5 carat cubic zirconia center. This sterling silver ring has been rhodium electroplated for the shine of platinum and features a 1 mm band. The entire ring weighs 3.3 grams.

It's got great sparkle and looks real. The baguettes are not small, as someone else mentioned. They are normal size. I don't know what it is about cameras in macro mode, but they make the stone look so much bigger than it actually is. This stone is smaller than it appears (only 1.5 carats) but it's very lovely and certainly a decent size. Asschers always look bigger across because they aren't as deep as a round cut is. It's a "low profile" ring setting, which I really love, as I have small hands and I hate a ring that is as high as it is wide. Anyway, in the other closeup photo from Nana, the stone looks SO enormous, but trust me, it's not that big of a stone (it must be size 4 or something! mine is a 5). This ring exceeded my expectations when I received it. The center stone is exceptionally brilliant and is cut and polished more finely than some real Asscher diamonds I've seen. The images don't do this ring justice, there's a lot of sparkle and fire to the stone that can only be experienced in real life. I daresay it's even comparable to an actual Royal Asscher stone.
The center stone is bigger than I expected. I compared it to my 1.5 carat loose Asscher stone and I'd say that it's approximately 2 - 2.5 carats.
I definitely recommend this ring. It's absolutely beautiful and very much believable. As far as quality goes, I'd say I got more than I paid for. I would recommend this item to a friend.Return and Exchange Policy:
