The tiny cupcake hangs on a delicate 16 inch gold tone chain. The cupcake measures 3/8" (9.525 mm) wide by 3/4" (19.05 mm)long. It is crafted from gold plated sterling silver jewelry.

 This was one of my favorite pieces of jewelry. It's really adorable and haven't seen anything like it anywhere else. Unfortunately, I'm no longer able to wear mine. After 8 months or so, it began to tarnish and the bottom of the cupcake has a chipped paint appearance. I don't think the face can be repaired by a cleaning solution or anything. Super cute but it's tarnishedBy leslee from Austin, TX on February 16, 2011 This is a cute little charm necklace! I've had mine a while and it's tarnished. I'm not sure how I should clean it. Any suggestions? My silver jewelry cleaner says silver only and this is gold plated silver. It also says not to use on stones. I dipped in my regular jewelry cleanser but it didn't do much. Some people never experience any wearing down of the plating on our jewelry, but for others it can be a problem. Your individual skin chemistry will also affect how long the plating lasts - especially on necklaces. Emitations does offer a 60 day return/exchange policy, so you can shop with confidence.
If your items become tarnished within 15 days of purchase we will happily offer you a replacement or refund. If you opt for a replacement, we will ship it promptly at no cost to you, as well as cover the cost to return the damaged item.

Its adorable, with a little bling and a lot of sweetness!
However, for the price, i wish the chain were not gold-tone, but rather vermeil like the cupcake.
Still, the overall piece is really just adorable! The cupcake is tiny. I don't like gaudy jewelry, but it is so small that my friends didn't really notice it was a cupcake until they came really close. I have a very thin frame, so you would think it would be a noticeable pendant, but it is very small. Also, the gold colour is not as light as shown. Personal preference I suppose, but I assumed it would be as bright as pictured.
