ANSWER: I have this ring and have never tried to wear it with a wedding band. Not sure that it would work with one anyway. It is a very beautiful and comfortable ring on its own. by Christy W 5/5/2013

I dont know about the guarantee you might want to actually call the 800 number on this site, but what I have done is I kept it in the little felt bag that it comes in whenever I am not wearing it, and it has not lost its luster.
