Love these. They let me wear earrings that I've never been able to wear before since I do not have pierced ears. I did have to squeeze the back of the clips to keep them from being too tight but that was not a big deal for me.

I actually sell Jewelry but we do not have these converters. So I bought them for a customer who wanted to buy earrings for pierced ears and she needs clips she said they worked great and she loves them. I will definitely be directing customers here in the future who have the same problem.

I bought a necklace I liked, and it came with wire earrings, but I don't have pierced ears. I bought the converters, and they work fine, so now I can wear the matching earrings with the necklace I like.

ANSWER: Yes, they can be changed. I have done it only once though, because I really wanted to wear some new pierced shepherd's hook earrings I bought before I had a chance to buy some more converters from Emitations. I don't know how much twisting the metal can handle before it might break if you were to continue to change the earrings though...have to be careful. by Natalie B 12/6/2011
ANSWER: Perhaps once or twice. I believe the metal would wear out and it will be difficult to have it look nice.

QUESTION: The pierced earrings I was given as a gift have a U-shaped hook, with the bauble on one end and nothing on the other end the part that pierces the lobe and hangs behind it . If I bought these converters, wouldn't the earrrings hang sideways? by None N 4/25/2011
STAFF ANSWER: That could be the case. I would recommend trying one of our regular clip-converters if you don't mind bending the post. This may work better for the particular earrings you are describing.
