Hollywood Has Yellow (Fashion) Fever!
After a long dreary winter, fashion will shine as bright as the sun this spring. Literally! Yellows in geometric shapes and metallic shades will be one of the season's hottest looks. Whether it's mustard, pale banana, taxi cab, or gleaming gold, expect to see yellow tones on dresses, jewelry, hand bags and even jeans this season.
Top designers such as Michael Kors, Vera Wang and Diesel showed yellow and gold as the bold colors of their collections at the Olympus Fashion Week in New York and the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in L.A. Where is all this yellow inspiration coming from? It is related to the
nautical themed looks that have been the toast of the fashion world lately. Designers definitely took a cue from the bright yellow rain slickers, hats, and galoshes often worn by fishermen.
