Our version isn't made from diamonds and platinum like Katie's was, but it's still incredibly gorgeous. The sterling silver band is encrusted with pave set CZs, and it separates into a split band on either side near the top. I fell in love with Katie's ring the second I saw it, and had to have this ring! This ring is stunning and true to the image in the picture. I am very sad to say I had to return my ring because one of the side pave stones fell out the day I received it! I think the quality of these rings is good, I just may have received a defected ring. Shpping was fabulous! I received the ring 2 business days after I placed the order. Spending over $100+ on the ring, I want it to be perfect. I know Katie's ring has rose gold in it, but I would love this ring even more if the rose gold was sterling to match the rest of the band. Emitations, you should consider this option for your other CZ rings. I must say the band is a bit uncomfortable at first but I got used to it after wearing it for an hour or so. The setting with the oval is just gorgeous. The 2.5 carats seems large on, however if you have longer fingers like mine it looks perfect! I do recommend this ring, as afterall it is simply stunning!! This is a big let down. I first got one of these that was damaged and I sent it back for a refund as they had no more in stock in my size. After being on backorder for months it was finally sent, only for the package to be lost in the post. After making a claim I finally received the ring at least 8 months after I first ordered it. I had in the meantime bought the following from ebay to match it (in triple-tone - Yellow, rose and white golds):
4 necklaces, 3 rings, 3 earrings, 2 bracelets. All of this I bought soley 'cos of the rose-gold prongs on this ring.
Imagine my total disappointement to discover after a few wears that the rose-gold on the prongs was half gone already.
Other than that it's a beautiful ring, but since I bought all this other stuff 'cos of this ring, and the colour is disappearing fast, it does not make me happy. Especially when all the much cheaper ebay jewellery still has all of the colours on them. We measured this ring after seeing this review, and the center stone is in fact larger than the previously advertised 1.5 carats. This ring has a 2.5 carat oval cut center stone that measures approx. 9mm long by 7mm wide. If you purchased this ring and were expecting a smaller center stone, please be sure to contact us for help. This customer chose to return her ring for a refund.
