A note from the CEO…
If you don’t have a lot of financial support, pursuing your studies and launching a business can be a daunting path. This scholarship is an open invitation to encourage all
students who wish to create a business to simply go for it.
I first started my company at the age of 22, while studying economics at the University
of California San Diego. Despite being inexperienced and cash poor, it really was such an
exciting time to be able to experiment with various business concepts. With no secured
job offer by the time I graduated, I really had nothing to lose. It was the perfect time to
create my own job opportunity that would fit my interests, allow me to grow, and one day
give back to society by creating jobs and learning opportunities for like minded people.
I hope that this scholarship will aid someone to create their own business opportunity.
