ANSWER: No, it never has turned my fingers green. The bands do show some wear, but nothing major. I only wear them as vacation rings & wore them while swimming in the resorts pool with no ill effects. I did have to go up one size my ring fingers are a size 5, so I ordered a size 6 to get the correct fit. Hope this helps. by Monique L 1/10/2013

ANSWER: I got this ring recently to wear to the beach..pool..etc so I didn't have to worry about my engagement ring..When I got it..in a size 5 I couldn't even put it on..but later in the day I did..I had a hard time getting it over my knuckle, but when I did it fits nicely and even moves around a bit....I didn't want to get the 6 because I figured it would be too big...I may see if I could get it stretched a little so it is a bit easier to get on...my engagement ring is a 5.5 or 5.75... by james h 8/27/2012
