ANSWER: Hello, I love my Diana ring and have it on now. The stone is very dark and if I were she I probably would have gone for a large diamond or emerald, but this is a lovely keepsake of a very unhappy marriage and I hope that William and Kate do better. ANSWER: My wife loves the ring. She wears it everyday and often receives positive comments... by Charles B 4/10/2011
ANSWER: In all honesty, I was a little disappointed when I first saw the ring in person, but it grew on me. My husband and teenage son said it looks like plastic. I just had to remind myself that this is costume jewelry and at a very reasonable price. I have seen other rings like this, but for costume jewelry, it was in the $200+ range. When I first wore it, I was a little self conscious about wearing it, but a couple of ladies at a party I wore it to, made some really nice comments about it. I would recommend it as long as you are not expecting it to look like the real thing! by Lorene A 4/10/2011

ANSWER: I returned the ring because the color was very dark, almost purple black by H I 3/15/2011
ANSWER: It was a pretty ring, but I ended up returning it because the stone was very dark blue. I'm not sure of the carat weight, but it was too big of a sapphire for my small hands. I wear a size 6. The sapphire was too dark and too big, in my opinion. I hope this was of some help to you. by Carol W 3/15/2011
ANSWER: Hi,
I bought this ring and not sure of the carat size but I would guess approx 5 or 6 carats . The color is a little dark but not black. When wearing you can see blue especially in the light. The ring is very elegant and well made and could pass off as a really sapphire ring set in white gold. A good buy! by Kim M 3/15/2011

imitation, looked like it was out of a bubblegum machine. I had a coupon code so i paid approx. $50 and thought it wasnt worth $10. I do not know the difference between that one and the Kate ring but i strongly suggest you pass up both. Poor quality, size of blue stone was small.

I am very happy with the quality and appearance of the one I bought.. by Mark C 3/8/2011
STAFF ANSWER: Hello,
The design is 100% identical.
The Princess Di's ring is made of sterling silver and the Kate Middleton ring is made of brass base. Hence, the cost difference. We wanted to offer a more affordable alternative.
Other than the base metal, everything else is exactly the same, the same quality stones, the same rhodium electroplating which gives it that fine jewelry look. Even the same quality guarantee. This item has a 60 day return policy. If you don't like it for any reason, you are eligible for a refund. For personal service, please call us at 800-652-5002.

Get real.... by Beverly H 1/29/2011
QUESTION: Thinking of getting this for my wife - she a big fan of Diana. Did you like it? by George E 1/12/2011
ANSWER: The only thing I would add to this is the design is not like the original if you are seeking authenticity. There is supposed to be 14 diamonds surrounding the oval stone and the band should not be split but tapered to widen into the width of the entire band on both sides of the stones setting. Another note: In order to be accurate the band on the Kate Middleton model should be yellow gold in color. Diana's was white gold, but her wedding band of Welsh gold was combined with the face of the engagement ring when it was made into a moments for Prince William. by morigun m 1/18/2011
ANSWER: I do like the ring very much. The centre stone is slightly off-centre but that is my only complaint. The size of the ring is not gaudy but big enough to make a statement. by Robin C 1/12/2011
ANSWER: The one I ordered looks nothing like this. The gems around the sapphire have absolutely no decent sparkle and are very small. I ordered mine too long ago to return it. The sapphire is pretty, though. More oval than round. by C O 1/12/2011
