I bought these for a gift for my sister who doesn't have pierced ears. They're different form all the stud magnetic earrings or the screw back dangles. They're really pretty and a little different.

These are very pretty earrings that work great for a special event. They are my new black tie/cocktail go too. They are more comfortable than any magnets I've ever worn and they could pass for really expensive

These will look great with my wedding gown. I love that they are magnetic. But, as with clip earrings, they hurt after a while. But, it'll be good enough for pictures!

QUESTION: What size magnetic backing did you buy 6mm or 12mm? by None N 11/25/2011
ANSWER: The 6mm backings are the same size as the top stud of this earring style. They are very strong magnets and caused temporary sore impressions in my ear when I wore them I used them during a 6 hour event. I didn't think they were stable enough because the earrings felt like they could come off if I shook my head vigorously.
The 12mm backings are a lot larger than the top stud. They still hide behind the ear, but I bet they're more noticeable if someone sees you from behind with your hair in an up-do. They seem better for long term wear; I don't get the impressions on my earlobes and I can shake my head without feeling the earrings move. by J K 1/25/2012
