Pretty, but not realistic looking

This ring is gorgeous, however, the color of the canary CZ is much brighter and more vibrant, not as pale as some of the photos let on. You can definitely get away with saying it's more similar to a yellow sapphire, it's just completely unbelievable as a canary diamond. Also, I ordered a 4, as I am a true size 4 and it's actually too large, which never has happened in my life. I will have to get it sized down to fit properly. Either way, it's a beautiful ring and for the price, can't be too bummed!

Excellent on small hands

I was worried about the size of the "rock" when I ordered it since I have small hands but when I received my size 5 ring and tried it on, it was perfect! The colour of the stone is really good and it sparkles like crazy, even under fluorescent lighting! I also purchased the one in clear and it sparkles but not as much as this one!

when I got the ring it was a little bit darker than epected - but it's absolutely gorgeous and has this wonderful sparkle. The size of the center stone is perfect and with the beautiful thin band it looks absolutely believable. I wore it to a business meeting today and got compliments from two other women there.

My first ring was damaged in transit, and I was so heartbroken to have to return it. Everyone on the customer service team was a pleasure during the exchange, and when my replacement arrived, I had completely forgotten how gorgeous it was that I was doubly surprised.

It's so delicate and dainty on my little finger (I ordered a size 4) that I feel like a little princess when I wear it. When the yellow stone catches the sun, it looks like a miniature sunset has been captured inside. I love this ring so much that I'm ordering the other colours as well.

If only it came in green and blue!

This is a $25 ring so you can't have very high expectations because it is always true that you get what you paid for. Given that, I definately thin I got good quality structured sterling silver ring with nice looking gemstones on it. The gemstone is large which is nice but you can tell it's not the real deal, yet still acceptable as a great timeless fashion jewelry accessory to your collection. I am satisfied with this ring, I got what I was looking for.

I wanted to get in on the "canary craze" so I bought this ring and it is beautiful. A nice pop of color to add the right amount of excitement to a little black dress, or to pick up the yellow in a blouse. The size 4 fits me much better than the size 4 Princess Diana ring (which was too large for some reason) This was a great buy and lots of fun.

I bought this ring recently because I had bought one a few years ago and it didn't really hold up because I wore it to my waitressing job. The ring I received this time looks like almost a totally different ring because of the stone color. It is much darker this time around. It is still a very beautiful ring but I was not what I was expecting based on the picture and my previous ring. I recommend changing the product image and title as to not mis-lead future buyers. It is definately not "canary" in color.

This was given to me by a friend because it is yellow and yellow acts to empower a person and help them find their personal strength. It will help turn dreams and goals into reality. My problem is the one i recieve is the center stone is tilted on the band and looked awfuly fake. I am not trying to pass the ring off a real byu any means but still wow it is really obvious with this ring.

Canary Yellow ring

I was sad to see that the colour was so dark. It looks fake.I was expecting it to be much, much lighter.I have seen this in a much lighter yellow than I got.Really dissapointed. Other than that the setting was really lovely, the delivery really fast.

I would like this ring if it looked like the one in the pictures. When I got it in the mail I immediately noticed that the center stone was a lot darker in person, and the cut that seems to have so much detail in the website's pictures isn't there. I liked the thin band and the idea of the stone, but I wish it looked as well cut like the pictures.

This is a very gorgeous ring! I got this as a promise ring from my boyfriend (picked out by me) and it looks so great.

I think that this is more wearable than the other colors because the yellow color gives it subtle sophistication which goes from work to playtime.

The pink was too playful to wear everyday and the clear color was too boring for my taste to wear all the time.

ANSWER: I'm very happy with the ring - it's quite pretty - but it is not believable. It is a very, very saturated and vivid yellow - much richer than the photo on the site but even the photo on the site is a more vivid yellow than the real ones. I used to work for a jeweler so I frequently saw real canary diamonds worth thousands - the real ones are more of a banana fruit, not peel color, and maybe even the slightest bit greenish and brownish. This stone looks more like a yellow topaz.

If you want an at-all-believable version of this ring, maybe try this same ring, but the white CZ version. A ring with a 2.5 carat real diamond of similar color/clarity to the CZ would probably cost $20,000 - if it's not believable that you'd ever spend that much on a tiny clear rock, then maybe it's not believable after all ; by Alexis C 4/24/2012
